The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is an indulgent, smooth single malt which displays a multitude of exotic flavours. The spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then apportioned between American white oak casks and aged Tawny Port pipes from W & J Grahams vineyard in Portugal. The two parts are then brought back together to harmonise the flavours before bottling.
