This is a vintage 1959 edition of the Milton Bradley board game Wells Fargo Game. The game is nearly complete. It has all the metal horse/rider pawns, money, and board but it missing one of the blue discs. All of the other colors are complete. Everything is in excellent condition. Other listings I've seen of this game list is as "Tales of Wells Fargo Game" but the Tales of is NOT written on this box lid. About the game - Each player controls a posse of two cowboys out searching for stolen valuables. The object of the game is to collect the most reward money by retrieving the valuables. When an item is located, it must be returned to the Holdup Scene to collect the reward. If another cowboy is able to catch up with the posse bringing an item to the Holdup Scene, that cowboy may join up and share in the reward.
