Slot Car Rally Mountain Track Sports Scalextric 22m - Unique - Western Australia Watch video of track for sale at Slotcar EMU Channel One of a kind analogue track that makes amazing racing - it’s all about the race! Analogue is much easier for children and novices to use compared to running digital. The Scalextric track is the newer Sports style that can be converted to Digital, and the two cars that come with the track are both Digital, a Ford Sierra and a Holden Torana. All who have had the chance to use it have said it is awesome. A great build. It could be yours now. This is the 3rd slotcar track I have built, and this one is the best so far. Built with Styrofoam boxes and glued together, then coated with fine setting plaster that make it a hard, strong surface. The track is wire soldered underneath at every join in manageable sections, then those sections are wire-twisted together to make a full contact track with no chance of dead spots, plus there are several direct links to the controllers spread throughout the track. The track is on two separate tables for easy moving, each table on four strong fixed legs. The legs could be sawn off for transport, and re-fitted at your location. Left section is 2030 x 1246, the right section is 1760 x 1230 mm. Overall is 2030 x 2906 mm aprox. in an “L” shape. There is 420 mm clearance under the tables for storage, and each table, without the legs, stand aprox. 1000 mm high. Should fit nicely in the corner of a shed or games room. The controllers are near new and in very good condition, with no lagging. Power source is 12v transformer and works well. The track has had very little use since it’s build, with all brand new track sections. There is also a brand new Carrera Digital Lap Counter: Carrera 71590 Electronic Lap Counter Records exactly (1/100 sec.) the times Adjustable width continuously to suit various track width For two lane operation Cars are recognized via infrared light barrier Time trials from 1 seconds to 99 min. Lap races from 1 to 999 laps Start phase with acoustic starting lights False start function Battery-operated, 4 batteries AA/LR6 (batteries not included) The track took over two years to build and hundred’s of hours, but sadly was hardly used. I actually made two tracks and still need to finish the other one off. But that’s another story. This is one awesome track that you could spruce up with a bit of scenery or stickers, or just race as is to your hearts content. The track is in Yarloop, half way between Waroona and Harvey.
