Ok, so ill admit it, I’m a plane Nerd, love the engineering involved in them, love seeing them work and love the idea of being whisked away to a far away exotic location. However I never and still regret got the opportunity to fly in a Concorde, been inside one on the ground many times, but not up in the air at twice the speed of sound. At Brickvention in 2015, I broached the subject that for the 10th anniversary of Brickvention we take a look back at a model we made in years gone by and re-imagine it. In 2010 I made a A380 cutaway, so what better than to do a cutaway of my most favourite plane of all time. At just over 4m long, 188 build hours and some 65,000 bricks, this model is my new favourite LEGO aeroplane. Built in December 2015 by myself, along with Mitchell Kruik, Clay Mellington and Claire Ashworth. And of course it is a cutaway! This time I thought id try miniland scale.
