The Bosch ProCORE 8.0Ah 18V Li-Ion Batteries from ITS delivers the same performance as the GBA range but in a more compact size. New technology has enabled Bosch to reduce the size of the battery while maintaining the strength, power and performance that is needed to run your tools. It features COOLPACK 2.0 technology to prevent damage to batteries from heat or overuse. Coolpack batteries offer around 130% more lifetime The battery has a fuel gauge to monitor battery level status The Bosch GAL18V-160 ProCORE Charger 18V is the fastest Bosch Charger for 18v lithium batteries and specifically ProCORE Batteries. The charging current of 16A charges the ProCORE 18v x 12Ah battery to 80 percent in around 35 minutes, this is half the time it takes the GAL1880CV Charger. In addition the GAL18V-160 Charger is the world's first with connectivity features, you simply connect your smartphone via the Bosch Toolbox App and are then fully informed, for example, about the remaining charging time and the general battery condition. You can also choose between four charging modes - from particularly battery-friendly to particularly fast with for example the "Power Boost" mode giving the battery a half charged in a very short period of time allowing you to continue to work quickly and efficiently out on site.
