The ruins are originally blocked and only become accessible after meeting Dante at Erodon Town. At a researcher will hand out a Temporary Scuba Gear, which allows the player to use Dive while inside the ruins, but cannot be taken outside. The ruins consist of 3 different levels of mazes, each having a limit of a certain number of steps to complete.
