Description

Motul is looking for a Motul Ibérica Product Manager Automotive M/F in Barcelona!

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Product Manager is accountable for driving the vision, messaging, awareness and go-to-market strategies for the Auto, Additives and Heavy Duty segments and work closely with the Marketing Manager on the definition of the product marketing plans per category and country (Spain and Portugal) to achieve fast customer adoption and energize sales of Motul products. This will include product portfolio management, pricing, route to market, trade promotion and communication.

 

Strategy

- Define with the Marketing Manager the strategy, objectives, and specific product marketing actions for the different categories.

- Identify relevant business opportunities based on deep understanding of the market, through in-depth analysis and identification of needs.

- Monitor Competitors Product activity in the market, including new launches, price positioning, brand positioning and messaging.

 

Product Portfolio Management

- Monitor and analyze the sales and profitability evolution of the SKU’s, ranges and categories, to evaluate sku’s performance and share key highlights to activate corrective mechanisms.

- Responsible for the new launches plan definition, including price positioning, key targets, go-to-market messaging, and product offering.

- Development and updating of the annual product launch and EoL calendar, according to HQ strategy.

 

Trade Marketing

- Have a clear understanding of the performance of customers and channels, through the analysis of sales and profitability, and implement the according corrective actions optimizing the available marketing resources, together with the Trade Marketing Specialist.

- Coordinate with the Trade Marketing specialist the Annual Trade Marketing and Promotional Plan for the categories, to assure the correct translation product strategy previously defined in the marketing plans into each Channel and Customer.

 

Sales Support

- Develop effective sales training materials for key products and new launches, making easy for sales to understand the product offering (value proposition) and key positioning.

- Provide sales team with product information.

- Support the sales team by encouraging customers relationship and business through product presentations and techno-commercial assistance.  

- Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries within the organization.

 

Forecasting

- Trough Sales, Trade Marketing and Demand Planning, give support to the elaboration of product forecast, and co-ordinate new product launches and EoL.

 

Advertising, brand & Assets

- Coordinate and manage the communication initiatives to build brand awareness and positioning in all touch points

- Campaigns design, implementation, and measurement, on and off-line

- Search for the best partners and agencies to execute the correct category strategy.
